How Are Your Feeling?

Taking care of our bodies is a full time job although most of us live by habit. If your habit has turned into late night snacks; 10 hours on the computer remotely; not a lot of movement or self-care during those long work hours; drinking energy drinks/not much water, then you are probably pretty loggie and feeling run down.
Our bodies need: nutrition; water; sleep and movement. When we do not give these to our bodies, it begins to break down into what it can tolerate. I remember having to break a Red Bull habit during a particularly tough 6 months of travel, speaking and off site team coaching. The initial hit of a long swallow of a cold Red Blue did the trick for about 45 minutes, then it was back to my habitual exhausting slog. My body did not give up – I was fortunate – but my cranky attitude even got to me…
Movement. Hydration. Sleep. Nutrition. Please don’t pick all 4 to change today. Pick one and see how much better (and more proud) you feel. Use your phone to remind you since it is never further than 8-12 inches away from your hand.
