Accountability Is Hard

“Stop telling me what to do” could be a frequent caption over our heads when people encourage us to keep our word and to be accountable. It can feel way too much like nagging, especially if we are guilty of being late delivering reports/information; keeping our word around contributing; and frequently annoying the heck out of our team or boss.

How do you want to show up? What do you want people to think of you and your work? How many times will you avoid being asked for the information/report/data that only you can provide?

Respect and trust are easy to win if you do what you say you will do, when you say you will do it, in the best way you know how.
