Breathing Yourself Into Awareness

There are none of us that can live without breathing. There are millions of us that live without taking deep full breaths to help with our thoughts, stress, shifting into a good attitude……..

You cannot live without your breath, but many of us are trying to breathe as little as possible. That creates stress. We react and hold our breath when we: see that stinker from purchasing in the hall; remembering our last meeting with the big boss and how we wish it had gone better; knowing we are late with a report and becoming annoyed with the receiver of the report; showing up late again; deciding we can do this project and show up that senior engineer who thinks she knows better. All of this behavior and attitude shortens our breath.

Deep breaths regularly tells our body we are ok. Short, tight, irregular holding our breath because of stress and reactions, tells our body to run – now, fast, out of here. How is your breathing?
