Our news is filled to the brim with danger and loss. Even if you are not a part of the physical issues, you can be affected deeply by the humanity of these terrible disasters.
There is nothing more powerful than our own breath. We cannot live without breathing. However, we can immediately lessen the tragedy of the moment by breathing deeply and often. Your body needs to know you are ok. Your mind will show up with all the stories and actions needed, but in the moments of utter loss, overwhelm and fear/anger, your breath will help to keep you centered and safe.
Respect your breath. Breathe deeply. Often. Breathe and be present to your breath. The rest of you, mind, body and spirit, needs you to take the breathing actions seriously and use this phenomenal healing tool right here and right now. Blessings on you all in your times of huge reactive troubles.
