Exercise Helps!!

Exercise and movement will truly help relieve stress and let your body know that you are ok and healthy. We sit so much that it confuses our muscles; circulatory system and breathing.

Use your phone to help support your commitment to getting some exercise and increasing your movement. You don’t need to necessarily get a gym membership, but hourly phone/alarm reminders to stand up, bend over, move your arms and maybe even take a little walk. The Romans used to take a walk after their evening meals to settle the food and support movement for their bodies.

One of my “at my office” exercises is the wall pushup. I set my alarm for 3 times a day to get me out of my chair, stand up and do at least 10-15 wall pushups. It is refreshing and my body (and arms) are looking better. Make it easy, but get up and move.
