Slowing Down And Being Present

Most of us have daily (morning and evening) habits that we do without thinking and just as fast as we possibly can. Get it done and get on to the next thing.
What if you brushed your teeth in slow motion. The first time I did it, I felt a little foolish. I noticed I was more of aware of my teeth and I was more thorough in brushing and taking care of them. You can choose a shower; shaving; eye shadow; exercising to try to do in slow motion.
When you slow down the routine, you actually pay attention to what you are doing. Imagine that, being present to yourself and doing it well. Louise Hay says “your longest and most intimate relationship is with you. How’s that going?”
