What Time Is It?

March 6, 2025

Time to breathe deeply, find a quiet place and turn off our phone for an hour or more…even during the day.

I’ve let my clients know that I am taking time from my phone and not answering or texting for good bits of my daytime activities. It was odd at first to not have my phone in my pocket or in my hand. Normally, our phone is no more than 8 to 12 inches away from our hand/reach. Now, it feels good. In fact, twice in the last 2 weeks, I left my home/my office, without my phone. Talk about brave…right?

So what time is it right now? Check the time, but don’t check your email; texts; phone calls. Rest and relax. You might even want to publish times when you will not be available to communicate. Instant communication is highly overrated especially since it is the cause of fierce capturing of our time instantly responding to “stuff”, every moment, all day long.
